Part of the 11th Sougliani Trail festival (running since 2015, 400+ athletes annually across all distances), on the Stratoniko Oros mountain range around Stavros and Ano Stavros - roughly 80-100km from Thessaloniki, Serres, Drama, Kavala and Kilkis. Of the 25km course, 20.3km (81.2%) is single-track through the same old-growth beech, oak and chestnut forest habitats as the longer Stratoniko Trail, starting and finishing at the pedestrian street in Stavros. ITRA-certified, with valid finishers earning 1 ITRA point usable for races abroad. Open to athletes 16 and over; 13-15 year-olds may take part only with a parental consent form signed by both guardians, with signatures certified as genuine by the police, a KEP citizens' service centre or a port authority. Entry by card, Masterpass or bank transfer to the club's Alpha Bank account (IBAN GR2101405850585002002007302) - bank transfers must be completed within 48 hours or the registration is voided, with proof emailed to f.o.s.stavrou@hotmail.gr. Athletes previously disqualified elsewhere for serious ethical violations may be refused entry, and the distance only runs if at least 60% of its planned capacity is filled. Cancellations get a full refund if requested by 28 February 2027 by email from the registered address.
