Part of the 11th Sougliani Trail festival (running since 2015, 400+ athletes annually across all distances), on the Stratoniko Oros mountain range around Stavros and Ano Stavros - roughly 80-100km from Thessaloniki, Serres, Drama, Kavala and Kilkis. The festival's most accessible timed distance: a circular route starting and finishing at the pedestrian street in Stavros, mostly on forest road (70%) with a short asphalt stretch (30%). Open to athletes 13 and over; younger participants may take part only with a parental consent form signed by both guardians, with signatures certified as genuine by the police, a KEP citizens' service centre or a port authority. Entry by card, Masterpass or bank transfer to the club's Alpha Bank account (IBAN GR2101405850585002002007302) - bank transfers must be completed within 48 hours or the registration is voided, with proof emailed to f.o.s.stavrou@hotmail.gr. Athletes previously disqualified elsewhere for serious ethical violations may be refused entry, and the distance only runs if at least 60% of its planned capacity is filled.
