6th edition of the "Tripletri" triathlon by the Ionas Association for People with Disabilities, held under the auspices of the General Secretariat of Sports and in cooperation with OAKA management. Women's wave of the Sprint distance, a 3-leg format with 10-minute rest breaks and reversed discipline order each leg: Leg 1 swim 250m - bike 4km - run 1.2km; Leg 2 (after 10 min rest) run - bike - swim in the same distances; Leg 3 (after another 10 min rest, athletes starting in the finishing order of leg 2) bike - swim - run. Finishing order of leg 3 determines the final ranking. Field capped at 26 athletes per start wave. Awards for the top 3 women overall plus the first in each age category (16-44, 45-59, 60+; age-category awards only given if at least 3 finishers). Athletes must use a standard road bike (no triathlon/time-trial bikes); rental available via Panorama Bikes (Vyronos 19, Marousi), who also provide technical support for the race. Physiotherapy support by Fysio Gkountas (Ipeirou 6 & Rodon, Alsoupoli, Nea Ionia). Ambulance coverage by Iatriko Athinon; venue security by Argos Security. Mandatory medical certificate from a pathologist or cardiologist. Race pack pickup: Saturday, October 17, 16:00-20:00, and Sunday, October 18, 07:30-12:00, at the venue. All proceeds support the Ionas Association's therapeutic water-exercise programs for children and people with disabilities.
