The middle distance of the event, sharing the start and finish at the central square of Agia with the other races. The course runs on forest paths through dense fir, beech, oak and chestnut woodland, passing natural springs, picturesque mountain villages, village squares and small chapels, without the summit section used by the 40km race. Roughly 16,900 hectares on the north-eastern side of Kissavos are designated an Aesthetic Forest, one of only 19 in Greece, and the area is included in the European Natura 2000 network as a site of outstanding natural beauty. The event is an ITRA member organisation and the 2027 poster lists a race in the UTMB Index 20K category. The exact measured distance will be confirmed in the official announcement, which is expected shortly together with the route details and registration.
