Semi-autonomous race philosophy. 8 aid stations (food, water, electrolytes): STAN 1 Krokyleio km 25 (cutoff 4.5h); STAN 2 Dafnos km 43 (cutoff 10h); STAN 3 Athanasios Diakos km 65 (cutoff 16h – drop bag, sleep); STAN 4 Viniani km 103 (cutoff 30h – sleep); STAN 5 Polydrosothe km 136 (cutoff 40h – drop bag, sleep); STAN 6 Defner Shelter km 161 (cutoff 50h – sleep); STAN 7 Ag. Efthymia km 195 (cutoff 60h – drop bag, sleep); STAN 8 Vraila km 217 (cutoff 69h – sleep). 3 drop bags allowed (submitted before start, transported by organisation) to: km 65 (Athanasios Diakos), km 136 (Polydrosothe), km 195 (Ag. Efthymia). Mandatory gear: waterproof/windproof jacket, 2 headlamps with spare batteries, emergency blanket, elastic bandage and 2 gauze pads, emergency whistle, min. 1,000 kcal food, charged mobile phone (number declared at registration). Gear checked at bib pickup and at a random point on the course – missing any item results in disqualification. Additional gear (gloves, hat, long tights or waterproof trousers) may be required based on weather conditions.
