11th edition of the memorial run marking 103 years since the Asia Minor Catastrophe. Start/finish at the central square of Nea Kios (Dimarchou Katrilioti Square); runners start together with the 11km race and split off after about 2.5km to head to the finish. Nearly flat course. Cutoff time: 1 hour. Aid stations at the 2.5km split point and the finish, with water. Top 3 men and top 3 women overall are awarded; no age category prizes. All finishers receive a medal, diploma and technical race t-shirt. Only runners 15 and older may take part; entries close Tuesday, September 8 at 20:00 or once the 100-participant cap is reached, whichever comes first - no race-day registration.
