The 2nd edition of the short Dromos Karydiou (Walnut Run), on the trails and dirt roads of Pagoneri with about +200m of climbing. A nice way into trail running if 16 km sounds like too much. Part of the Walnut Festival (Γιορτή Καρυδιού) of Pagoneri, which happens every year on the first Sunday of November (so you can already mark next year too). Start and finish at the central square of Pagoneri. The race office is open at the square on race day from 9:00 to 10:00, and the awards are at 12:30. Register by 17 October 2026 if you want this year's memento, a hoodie (you can still register after that, you just get a memento from previous years instead). Payment is by bank transfer and has to be done by 27 October 2026, the bank details are on the registration page. The 16 km race starts 10 minutes earlier, and there is also a free 1 km race for kids. You run at your own risk and your own insurance, and a recent medical check-up is a must.
