"Sea to Mountain" — starts at Kalamata beach (sea level) and climbs to 1,215m on Mount Kalathi. 1,474m positive elevation gain. 6.5-hour time limit. Terrain: mountain trails, rocky passages, forest roads, short asphalt sections. High difficulty — for experienced trail runners. Passes through Kato and Ano Verga traditional settlements and the unique "Krateras" natural landmark. Panoramic views of the Messenian Gulf and Taygetus peaks. Mandatory equipment: at least 0.5L water (no plastic cups at aid stations — bring your own flask/cup), trail running shoes, windbreaker/rain jacket, hat, gloves, phone recommended. Awards: top 3 men/women general + age categories 40-49 and 50+ (min 5 participants each). Top 3 winners receive free entry to Kalathi Trail 2027.
