Men's/Women's Aquathlon: 1,000m swim (10 laps) in the pool, followed by 5km run (2 laps) around the National Athletic-Training Center of Olympic Village. Held under World Triathlon rules. Numbered swim cap and race belt with bib provided by the organizer are mandatory; headphones/audio devices are banned for safety. Torso must be covered during the run. Athletes are marked with their bib number on hand and leg before the start. Secretariat opens 07:45; all athletes must complete bib pickup by 09:00 regardless of their heat start time. Race held in three heats (09:00, 09:25, 09:50).
