First AQUARUN DAY VIRONAS, a swim and run day by the Municipality of Vyronas and GOEVENTS, with the support of the Attica Region. From pool to track: you start in the Vyronas Municipal Swimming Pool "Christos Tampaxis", finish your swim leg, go through the transition zone and then run on the Vyronas athletics track. Think of it as a mini triathlon without the bike (and without needing any triathlon experience). Open to kids, teens, adults, families, club athletes and total beginners. Slogan of the day: Swim. Run. Team up. Play! Relay x4: teams of four, each member does one leg in this order: 200m swim, 400m run, 200m swim, 400m run (400m swim and 800m run in total). The most fun format of the day, here the team matters more than your personal time. Pool lanes 1-8 and track lanes 1-4. Starts every half hour. Participation is free for everyone. Medals for all participants after they finish. Included: AQUARUN DAY swim cap, finisher medal, refreshments on course and medical support. Mandatory medical certificates: one from a pathologist or cardiologist and one from a dermatologist (yes, a dermatologist, it is a pool after all), handed in at the race office before you compete and to collect your kit.
