First AQUARUN DAY VIRONAS, a swim and run day by the Municipality of Vyronas and GOEVENTS, with the support of the Attica Region. From pool to track: you start in the Vyronas Municipal Swimming Pool "Christos Tampaxis", finish your swim leg, go through the transition zone and then run on the Vyronas athletics track. Think of it as a mini triathlon without the bike (and without needing any triathlon experience). Open to kids, teens, adults, families, club athletes and total beginners. Slogan of the day: Swim. Run. Team up. Play! Duo Set Relay x2: two people, one team. The swimmer does 400m in the pool and hands over to the runner for 1600m on the track. Perfect for friends, parents with kids, couples, training buddies and the usual crew. Starts 12:00-15:00 (pool lanes 8-13, track lanes 4-6) and 15:00-18:00 (pool lanes 9-13, track lanes 5-6). Starts every half hour. Participation is free for everyone. Medals for all participants after they finish. Included: AQUARUN DAY swim cap, finisher medal, refreshments on course and medical support. Mandatory medical certificates: one from a pathologist or cardiologist and one from a dermatologist (yes, a dermatologist, it is a pool after all), handed in at the race office before you compete and to collect your kit.
