Part of the 5th Sterea Run. Point-to-point course from Isaias Square in Amfissa to Itea pier, with a net elevation loss of 170m on good-quality asphalt, certified by AIMS and World Athletics. Renewed route this year: part of it runs through the Amfissa olive grove, the largest in the Balkans, and the final stretch follows the seafront from Kirra to Itea pier. Race ambassador: Georgia Kanouta, 1st woman at the 2026 Alexander the Great Marathon (2:48:17). Ages 18+ (born 2008 or earlier). Age categories - Men: 18-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Women: 18-39, 40-49, 50+. Aid stations along the course with water, isotonic drinks, cola, nuts and bananas; water, isotonic drinks and bananas also at start and finish. Includes technical t-shirt, electronic chip timing, race bib, finisher medal, refreshments during and after the race, and sponsor gifts. Trophies and medals for the top 3 men and women overall and the top 3 in each age category (overall winners are excluded from age categories). Awards ceremony at 11:30. Race pack and timing chip pickup at the Amfissa Cultural Centre (Isaias Square): Saturday 10/10, 09:00-14:00 and 17:00-21:00, and Sunday 11/10 until one hour before the half marathon start. On-site registration is accepted during those hours while t-shirts and chips last. Electronic timing by FITRACE. Buses take runners from Itea pier to the start from 06:45, and back from the Itea finish to Amfissa after the race. Bags for collection at the finish go on the bus parked 30m from the start (corner of Gidogianni St and Salonon Ave). Supervised bag storage, toilets and changing rooms at the Amfissa Cultural Centre.
