Sixth edition of the Dirfys Trail Run, held under the aegis of the EOSLMA-Y. Start and finish at the Steni Primary School. Route: the race starts from the Steni school at 400m and runs 1.5km on asphalt to the Steni football pitch, then left onto trail (S1), a 1.5km climb ending on a dirt road, with the 1st aid station at 4.2km. The course continues on the 'Elatias' trail to the mountain refuge at 1,110m, the 2nd aid station at 5.8km. From the refuge a descent on dirt road for 2.5km to Rachi Syka, then back onto trail (S3). The 3rd aid station is at 8.7km. The course then drops steeply for 2km, with difficult sections on the descent, followed by an easy river crossing to the 4th aid station at 12.8km. The final 2km pass through the village to the finish at the Steni school. By decision of the organising committee the start is given in blocks, based on the previous year's result or, for new entries, on the expected finishing time declared at registration. Entry includes chip timing, race bib, finisher medal, and first-aid and medical support throughout the course. Payment by debit or credit card only, with a confirmation email after each registration. An optional 42K Running Ultralight Jacket can be added for an extra 23 euros. If the race cannot be held on the scheduled date it will be moved to a new date and all payments remain valid; runners who cannot attend the new date may request a refund minus a bank handling fee of 2 euros for the 15km.
