Start at 08:00 from Pyrgi village, Agioi Pantes church square (Charaki settlement). Distance: 33.9km, elevation gain: 1746m. From the square descend on asphalt for 550m then enter a trail that becomes uphill. At 3km, at the edge of the fir forest, follow the dirt road left. At 4.5km at 'Pigadia' is the 1st aid station. Turn right onto a beautiful continuous uphill trail for 3.5km to reach the 2nd aid station on a dirt road. Continue left on a gentle downhill to the 3rd aid station at 12.5km at 'Petasi' (or 'Kissos'). Enter right on a trail leading to the start of the Ainos ridge — 8.5km above 1500m with panoramic sea views, perhaps the only such ridge on an island anywhere in the world. Pass the highest peak 'Megas Soros' (1628m) and continue to the 4th station at 18km. Continue on dirt road; at 'Chionistras' enter a trail for 3km to asphalt. After 2km turn left on trail to 'Eza' — 5th station at 25km. Follow downhill running trail for 3km, then right on dirt road to the 6th station at 29km. Turn left on downhill trail to asphalt; pass through the settlements of Tsakarisiano, Sofata and Digaleto and finish at the starting square in Pyrgi.
