Closed-to-traffic road course starting/finishing at Almyros central square.
The route turns back shortly after the Zerelia twin meteoric lakes, climbing from 55m to 205m, with two counterclockwise loops inside the lake area (900m per loop) — a checkpoint tracks lap count and a 10-minute penalty applies for an incorrect number of loops.
Electronic chip timing with an additional checkpoint at the 10km turnaround.
Cutoff time is 2 hours 45 minutes; finishers beyond that continue at their own risk.
Open to men and women aged 18 and up.
Capped at 100 entries; registration opens August 25, 2026 and closes Sunday, September 27, 2026 or when the cap is reached.
Entry fee is payable by bank transfer to Alpha Bank within 3 days of registering, after which unpaid entries are cancelled; a €3 surcharge applies for transfers from other banks, and Almyros/Volos-based participants may pay cash at a location to be announced.
6 aid stations plus an individual feed bag; runners may carry their own nutrition.
Includes technical t-shirt and engraved medal for all finishers.
Trophies for the top 3 men and women overall, plus age-category trophies (18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+); overall winners are not also awarded in their age category, and a category needs at least 4 finishers to be awarded separately.
A doctor, ambulance and 4x4 support vehicles at each aid station provide on-course medical coverage; only a GPS watch and mobile phone are permitted, with disqualification for external or motorized assistance, missing a checkpoint, or an unmodified/hidden bib.
A guarded personal-items check is available at the central square.
Cancellations for a refund accepted up to September 22, 2026.
Protests must be filed in person by the athlete within 30 minutes of finishing.
Bib pickup: Saturday, October 3, 18:00-20:30 at the EOS offices (Aristotelous Pappa 15, Almyros), or Sunday, October 4, 07:30-09:00 at the central square.
