10th edition of a solidarity charity run held within the church parish, under the aegis of the Metropolis of Kitros, Katerini and Platamonas and the Hellenic Federation of Mass & Ultra-Distance Running Clubs. No participant cap. This year's beneficiary is the "BENIAMIN" Children's Protection Association of Katerini, which supports single-parent families. Start and finish at the churchyard of Agios Charalambos; the course is fully paved and monitored by Katerini traffic police, municipal police, and local volunteers. One aid station at the 2.5K mark. No age categories - trophies for the top 3 men and top 3 women overall. All finishers receive a commemorative medal and a snack/drink pack. Minimum age 15; participants must be medically certified fit to run. Timing is non-electronic (manual, reliable methods) - runners must wear their bib number on the chest at the finish. Medical coverage by the Hellenic Red Cross (Katerini branch), with an ambulance and doctor on site. Bib pickup at the church hall: Mon Aug 24 - Wed Aug 26, 9:00-13:00 and 18:30-21:30 (also for new in-person registrations); Thu Aug 27 is the final registration deadline at 11:00; further pickup Fri Aug 28 - Sun Aug 30, 9:00-13:00 and 18:00-21:30. Runners traveling from other prefectures on race day collect their bib then; late/last-minute registrations are discouraged.
