Virgin Forest Ultra Trail (VFUT) — 162.651km / +6,964m elevation gain. Semi-autonomous adventure race through the virgin forests of Paranesti, Drama. Time limit: 40 hours. Min. age: born before 2006. Must submit a brief athletic CV listing main races completed and sports activities at registration. Max 150 participants. Mandatory gear (checked at secretariat; missing items = no race pack issued; may be re-checked at any point on course): hydration vessel min. 1L, waterproof jacket, emergency blanket, hemostatic spray, elastic bandage, emergency whistle, 2 head torches with spare batteries, extra t-shirt, min. 1,000 kcal food, charged mobile phone (number declared at registration; emergency 112), personal cup. Organizer may also require gloves, hat, below-knee or waterproof pants depending on weather. Two 30L drop bags (provided in race pack) transported by organizer to Anteros and Zarkadiá II aid stations; no sharp/fragile objects or poles in bags. Full hot meal at Anteros and Zarkadiá II stations. Accommodation at Mesochori village included (Oct 21–24): pasta party evening before, breakfast race day, post-race meal; transfers from secretariat to Mesochori and to race start included. Accident insurance and physiotherapy on-site included. Sweep teams and 4th EMAK mountain rescue support course; ambulance on standby. Age group awards: M/W 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
