Part of the 6th annual Chalkiopoulo cultural festival (Aug 14-18, 2026). Start/finish at the primary school courtyard in Nea Chalkiopoulo. Out-and-back course along the same provincial road as the 10K, turning around at the 2.5km mark. Electronic chip timing. Water stations along the route, plus water, juice and fruit at the finish. Awards: cups for the top 3 men and top 3 women; commemorative medals for all finishers. Awards ceremony after all races finish. Police (Embesos station) manage traffic, the Chalkiopoulo health center provides medical coverage, volunteers staff the aid stations, and a support vehicle follows the whole route. Participants run at their own risk and must self-certify their fitness.
