Two-day event on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November 2026. Start and finish are at the central Fabrika Politismou (Culture Factory) / Town Hall in Leonidio. The 5,000m starts from the same point and follows exactly the same route as the main race, in front of the Fabrika towards Plaka; at 2.5 km runners turn around and return by the same route to the finish. It starts together with the 16,000m race. Open to runners who have completed their 18th year. Age categories for men and women: 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. The first 3 men and first 3 women of the general classification are awarded, plus the first 3 in each age category for men and women; winners of the general classification are not also awarded in their age category. Every participant receives a commemorative medal. The entry package includes a race number, a technical T-shirt, electronic timing, a commemorative medal, water, fruit and medical services. Aid stations along the route every 4 km, with bottled water at the start, at the finish and at the route stations; bananas at the finish. Kilometre markings every 4 km. Toilets at the start/finish area and medical support at the start/finish. There will be a total of 200 entries across the 5,000m and 16,000m races combined, so the organisers ask runners to enter only if they are certain they can attend. No medical certificate is requested; all runners take part at their own responsibility and sign the relevant declaration when registering by ticking the corresponding field on the form, and a medical check-up before the race is recommended. Race pack pickup: Saturday 14 November at the start area at the Fabrika, 18:00-20:30, and on race morning at the race secretariat, 07:30-09:00. The secretariat closes at 09:00 with no extension; after that, packs not collected by registered runners are given to reserves present at the secretariat. Runners should be at the start area at least 1 hour earlier. Runners who have not registered and have no race pack may run unofficially. Awards ceremony at 11:45.
