Athletes gather at Chora Sfakion port at 08:30 for BIB pickup (until 10:00). A bag may be left at registration and collected at the Anopoli finish. Athletes board the ferry at 10:20; race starts from the ferry ramp at Loutro at 10:50. Athletes run 500m along the car-free Loutro seafront, then climb the rocky path to the chapel of Agia Aikaterini (3.5km, +680m). Athletes must ring the church bell to validate their run. Descent via path, road, and Kalderimi for 900m to Anopoli square. No mandatory equipment; poles and hat recommended due to the steep climb. 2 water stations: one mid-route, one near the chapel. Cut-off: 1 hour from start at the mid-point station — athletes unable to continue are transported by 4x4 to Anopoli. Max 250 participants. Payment by card online or on-site (limited on-site spots — early online registration advised). Cancellation: no refund after Sep 15, 2026. Includes: electronic timing, medical support, free ferry transfer, post-race meal, transport back to Sfakia, athlete bag with souvenirs. Awards and traditional refreshments at Anopoli square by the local cultural association.
