13th edition, part of Katerini's official liberation-day celebration program, held under the aegis of the Metropolis of Kitros, Katerini and Platamonas and the Hellenic Federation of Mass & Ultra-Distance Running Clubs (EOSLMA-Y). Start at the Platanodasos of Neokaisareia (Forest Theatre) and finish at Katerini's Central Square (Liberty Monument), passing the liberation heroes' memorial shortly after the start. Flat, fully paved route via Svoronos, 7th Division Street, the pedestrian street, and M. Alexandrou Street. Minimum age 12 (born 2014 or earlier); recent medical checkup required, minors participate under parental/guardian responsibility. Electronic timing with results published immediately after the race. Kilometer markers along the entire course; water stations at the midpoint and finish. Awards for the top 3 men and women overall, plus special awards for the 3 largest group entries and outstanding cases at organizers' discretion; all finishers receive a commemorative medal. Free shuttle buses from Central Square to the start (09:00-10:15). Medical coverage by Hellenic Red Cross volunteers, the Pieria Rescue Team, and an ambulance from ALFA Nephrology Center of Katerini. Bib pickup for Katerini/Pieria residents: Sat Oct 10, 10:00-14:00 & 17:30-20:30 at the Astiki School of Katerini; other participants collect bibs on race day until 09:45 at Central Square (Liberty Square) - no bibs distributed at the start.
