Road race named after Vangelis Vrontzos, non-competitive free run/power walk of 5.5km, part of the Dromos Thysias Giannitson event. Same start point as the Half Marathon. Time limit 1h40 (finish by 10:50). Families pay a single €5 fee regardless of participants; students and unemployed run free. Top 3 finishers and category winners receive a medal, with a cup for the overall male/female winner. Race pack pickup at the Giannitsa Polykentro: Saturday 3/10 18:00-21:00 and Sunday 4/10 07:30-08:30. Registration opens Tuesday 1 September 2026.
