A medium-distance alternative to the 26km Kaliakouda Trail, sharing the same start in Megalo Chorio and its opening kilometers on the slopes of Mount Kaliakouda in Evrytania. Race packet pickup starts at 14:00 on October 3 at the Registration Office in Megalo Chorio; mandatory technical briefing at 19:00 that evening at the village's Folklore Museum, followed by a pasta party at 19:45. Diverges from the long route at km 3.5, climbing over the rocky Xerovouni ridge to Pinakakia peak (1562m) before descending forest track back to the village, joining the long route's final kilometers. Rocky, occasionally exposed ridge terrain around km 5-8 requires care. 3 aid stations on course, with snacks available at km 4.5. Awards ceremony at 12:00. Participants in this race must also select a Desocks running sock size (36-38.5 / 39-41.5 / 42-44.5 / 45-48) when registering.
