Starts in front of the Phaistos archaeological site and runs through Agios Ioannis, Kamilari and Kalamaki, finishing near the Kalamaki village square via the coastal road. Open to runners aged 16 and up (born 2010 or earlier); athletes under 18 need a parental consent form. Electronic chip timing. Awards for the overall men's and women's winners plus age categories up to 39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+, and an AMEA (disability) category; general-category winners aren't awarded again in their age group, and age groups are assigned by birth year rather than birth date. Every finisher gets a commemorative medal, Dryfit t-shirt, bib number and small pouch, with water and bananas on course and at the finish. Bib/kit pickup Saturday 26 September 10:00-13:00 outside the Municipality of Phaistos town hall in Moires, or on race day. €1 from each entry goes to the "To Mellon" disability association. Ambulance, paramedics and Hellenic Red Cross volunteers on standby. Race goes ahead rain or shine; only extreme weather would trigger a postponement to a new date, with entries staying valid but non-refundable if the race is cancelled outright.
