Environmental-awareness mountain run held inside the Julia & Alexander N. Diomedes Botanic Garden in Chaidari, organised by the Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Sport in the Armed Forces (ASAED) with the Botanic Garden charitable foundation, to promote environmental protection among Armed Forces and security-forces personnel and the wider public. Open to Armed Forces and security-forces personnel and to civilian men and women aged 18 and over, running under their own medical responsibility. The course is run as 3,100 m laps with about 115 m of climb and descent per lap, mostly on forest road with a section of rocky path; the start and finish are 150 m to the left of the Botanic Garden main entrance. Electronic timing. In keeping with the environmental theme no plastic water bottles are handed out: every runner must carry their own hydration (a hydration vest or waist bottle) and refill at the stations at 3.1, 6.2 and 9.3 km and at the finish. Full medical cover. Awards to the leading men and women in the overall classification, and a commemorative medal for everyone who finishes within the time limit. Race numbers are collected on race day from the secretariat, from 15:45.
