Mountain trail race on the “Gypas” (Griffon Vulture) course through the Dadia–Lefkimi–Soufli National Park forest, starting and finishing at the outdoor area of the O.FY.PE.K.A. Information Centre in Dadia village. Elevation gain about +900m. An ITRA-labelled trail race with 10 aid stations along the route (water, isotonic, cola, cold tea, gels, bars, bananas, salty snacks, magnesium at points). Open only to runners aged 18 and over (born 2008 or earlier). The event carries the message “One athlete – One tree”: a tree is planted for every runner on the start line to help restore the fire-hit Dadia forest. Electronic chip timing with checkpoints at the start, midpoint and finish. Free basic package: bib with timing chip, finisher medal, aid stations, medical cover, official results and a participation certificate, plus awards to the top 3 men and top 3 women. An optional “Pro Fit Extreme” package (€25) adds a technical t-shirt. Bib and race-packet pickup in person on 18 and 19 September 2026 at Soufli Town Hall (Vas. Georgiou 180, tel. 2554350100), with hours announced on the event website; runners from outside Soufli who cannot attend may collect from the start-area info kiosk on 20 September, 07:00–08:30. No new registrations or changes are made on race day. Accompanying runners are permitted but are not registered or timed. Participant cap 1000; the race is held in any weather.
