AIMS and World Athletics certified course.
Loop course starting/finishing at Arkalochori Exhibition Center, passing through Choumeri, Galatas, Voni, Thrapssano.
9 water stations (2km, 5km, 7km, 9km, 10.5km, 13km, 15km, 17km, 19km) with isotonic drinks at halfway point and finish.
Highest point: 391m (start/finish), lowest: 301m (10km).
Challenging section 15-18.5km.
Steep 300m climb at 6.9-7.2km near Galatas.
Minimum age: 18 years.
Max 1,600 participants.
Bib pickup: Saturday Oct 3, 11:00-18:00, Eleftherias Square, Heraklion.
Awards for top 3 overall and age categories (18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).
