Running and race-walking. Start/finish on Megalou Alexandrou Ave at Gyzi St, after the "Umbrellas" sculpture. Route: out-and-back on G. Papandreou Ave (turn at Lysimachou St, 2.12 km), then to the city centre via Tsimiski and Polytechniou (turn at Karatasou/26is Oktovriou, 7.19 km), returning via Nikis Ave and the White Tower. Open to runners born 2011 or earlier. Awards: top 3 men and women overall; top 3 boys and girls 15-18; age groups 36-50, 51-65 and 66+. Age-group awards (winners of the overall ranking excluded) are presented at a later event at the Olympic Museum. Registration center: Olympic Museum, 3is Septemvriou & Agiou Dimitriou, Thessaloniki (weekdays & Saturday 10:00-16:00, until 01/11); registration and cash payment also possible there.
