Route name: "Ververa". Starts and finishes at the Agios Nikolaos grove in Naoussa, source of the Arapitsa river, at 480m altitude. Green, forested course through beech, oak, and chestnut trees, offering shade for most of the way - only about 1.5km exposed to direct sun. Passes the Konstantinidis estate, the "Kanaraki" gallery, and the Agia Triada chapel (3.5km, 650m altitude). Roughly the midpoint is the Profitis Ilias chapel (930m), followed by the technical, steep "Ververa" descent (-25.8%) before rejoining the 24km route near the Commando unit grounds to the finish. Awards ceremony at 13:30. Bib pickup: Saturday 12/09 evening (Pasta Party) or Sunday 13/09 07:30-08:30 at the start area.
