The long one of the 8th Aligkari Run, at 1,200-1,315 m on Mount Paiko (mid-November up there is not exactly beach weather, so bring a layer). Start and finish in the village square of Megala Livadia. Most of it runs on forest road (10.8 km, 80%) and the remaining 2.7 km on asphalt, with a 220 m descent to balance the climbing. Aid stations: the regulations are a bit contradictory here (2 stations at km 5 and 10 in the summary, 3 stations at km 5, 8 and 11 in the aid table), so a small bottle in your pocket will not hurt. Open to runners aged 18 and over. Chip timing, technical t-shirt and a commemorative medal for every finisher. Medals for the top 3 men and women overall and for the age-group winners (18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+); overall winners are not counted in the age groups. Race kit pickup on Sunday 15/11, 09:00-11:30, at a location the organizer will announce. Under the auspices of the Municipality of Paionia and the Region of Central Macedonia, with the support of MEAS TRITON and the organizing committee of the Alexander the Great International Marathon and the Thessaloniki International Night Half Marathon. Same day: 7.5 km, 3 km and a 500 m race for primary school kids.
