Mountain race on the southern slopes of Mount Kallidromo, with start and finish at the Palaiochori village square (Πλατεία Παλαιοχωρίου), which sits at 514 m.
Organized by the Association of Palaiochoritai Dorieon and the Community of Palaiochori Dorion, in cooperation with A.S. Dionysos Amfikleias and the Trachina Lamias Association, under the auspices of the Municipality of Amfikleia-Elateia and the Region of Central Greece, with the participation of the Cultural Association of Bralos, the Cultural Association of Drymaia and A.P.S. Apollon of Western Attica.
The organizers' stated aim is to promote sport, to highlight the natural beauty of Mount Kallidromo and to protect its environment.
Participation limit: 200 runners per race, and registrations may close earlier if the limit is reached.
Timing is electronic, with a chip handed out together with the bib.
Runners must be in the start area no later than 30 minutes before the start of their race.
Race packs and bibs are handed out on Saturday 31 October 2026 at the village square from 18:00 to 20:00, and from the secretariat one hour before the half marathon start.
Registration is online only, through the Εγγραφές page on neuropolisrace.gr or the RaceID link, and opens on 1 September 2026.
Everyone competes at their own sole risk and no medical certificate is required; athletes under 18 take part under their parents' responsibility.
Medical cover is provided by volunteer doctors and an EKAB ambulance is on site.
There is a guarded bag storage area near the start/finish, but valuables and money are best left behind.
If it rains the race is held as normal; in extreme weather it is postponed to a new date announced by the organizers and entries stay valid; if the race is cancelled the entry fee is not refunded.
To keep the mountain clean the organizers avoid plastic bottles and packaging, so each runner should carry a personal water bottle.
A kids' «Paleochori Trail» for young athletes is traditionally held on the Saturday before the races (31 October 2026); its 2026 details had not been published by the organizers when this listing was prepared.
