Organized by the Municipality of Pyrgos (Sports Department) with the Region of Western Greece (Sports Sector), Pyrgos Athletic Events, and the Hellenic Anticancer Society - Pyrgos Branch, with the honorary support of the Holy Metropolis of Ilia and Olena and the Hellenic Red Cross - Pyrgos Branch. Dedicated to the Holy Monastery of the Dormition of the Theotokos "Panagia i Kremasti". Non-competitive event with symbolic awards, promoting exercise, health, volunteering, and community giving. This route honors the memory of fellow athlete Angela Alexidi. Course: paved and unpaved, semi-mountainous. Cups awarded to the top 3 men and top 3 women overall. All participants receive a medal, bib, and technical T-shirt (choose size at registration). Bib/T-shirt pickup: August 16, 2026, 16:30-18:45 at the start (courtyard of Agios Nikolaos Church, Lanthi) - no pickup after 18:45. Water stations along the course; water, juices, and soft drinks at the finish, followed by a celebration with traditional food for all participants. Medical coverage by a doctor and Hellenic Red Cross volunteers. A signed liability waiver is required before the start; no medical certificate needed, though a recent check-up is recommended.
