For men, finishing 120km within 12 hours counts towards possible qualification for the Spartathlon ballot. Trophies to the top 3 men and top 3 women. Flat (zero gradient) looped course on Psatha beach, 3,333.40m per lap, measured by the official IAAF course measurer in Greece, Giorgos Dousis. Held under IAAF and IAU rules and under the auspices of the Hellenic Federation of Mass Sport & Ultra-Distance Clubs (EOSLMA-Y). Start at Kafe Paradise; all races (120K, 110K, 100K, 50K) start together. One central aid station with water, isotonic drinks, sweet and salty snacks, fruit, raisins, honey, salt, juices and soft drinks. No pacing/accompanying and no feeding outside the aid station (penalty: disqualification). Runners may hand personal supplies to the secretariat one hour before the start and may set up their own table next to the central station. Bib pickup on race day at the secretariat near the start. Electronic timing and medical coverage provided; station managers and course judges act as race officials. Included: technical race T-shirt, finisher medal and a light meal after the race. Free bus from Athens at 04:30 in front of the Stanley Hotel, Karaiskaki Square, Metaxourgeio; return buses from Psatha at 13:00 and 19:30. Please declare whether you will use the bus. In case of extreme weather and a civil protection ban, the races move to Saturday 19 December.
