Important Information
Assembly at 08:30, start at 09:30 in front of the former Faneromeni Primary School; the course loops around the Faneromeni Dam over a mix of asphalt and dirt roads before finishing back at the same point, with a 2.5-hour cutoff.
Co-organised with the Municipality of Phaistos.
Open to athletes born in 2006 or earlier (age 16+).
Field capped at 150 runners, first-come, first-served.
Categories: overall men's and women's rankings plus age groups (18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+) for men and women based on birth year; overall category winners are not eligible for age-group prizes.
Electronic chip timing.
Every finisher receives a commemorative medal, technical t-shirt, backpack, and bib number, plus aid stations during and after the race.
Teams may enter across all distances; the three teams with the most finishers are awarded, and the team captain collects all packages on behalf of the team.
Live music at the start/finish area throughout the event.
Ambulance, paramedics, and Hellenic Red Cross volunteers on standby; runners under 18 take part under parental responsibility and all participants race at their own risk.
The race proceeds as scheduled in rain; only extreme weather triggers a postponement to a new date announced by organisers (registrations remain valid), and entry fees are non-refundable if the race is cancelled outright.
Parking is available a short walk from the start/finish, along with changing rooms and toilets.
