Loop course starting and finishing at the central square of Makistos: 20% forest trails, 10% asphalt, 70% forest dirt road, climbing from 360m to 735m (+1000m cumulative gain) before descending back to the start. Route passes Ancient Aipy, the Ancient Tombs of Makistos, and the Temple of Artemis. Minimum age 17, with a signed liability waiver and recent medical clearance required. 5 aid stations: Ancient Aipy entrance (3.5km), Ancient Tombs exit (6.5km), Temple of Artemis (10km), Smerna village (14km), Artemida village (19km). Doctor and rescuers on course, ambulance on standby in Makistos, radio network coverage, fire truck present. Cutoff time: 4 hours (13:30). Runners must be at the start by 08:00. Electronic chip timing (chip returned after finish). All finishers receive a medal and technical t-shirt; trophies for the top 3 men/women overall, plus age categories 17-40 and 41+ (silver/bronze medals for 2nd/3rd place). Bib and chip pickup from 07:45 at the cultural center in Makistos. Free local food offered to all finishers after the race.
