Part of the "Feast of the Mountain and the Moon" at "Karma Pass" (Στου Κάρμα το Διάσελο) in Nerochori, starting 16:00, organized by the mountain villages associations of the Municipality of Thermo. Non-competitive children's race (Elementary school age) through the fir forest on the edge of the Natura 2000 area "Mount Panaitoliko": start at Karma Pass, turnaround at Trypio Lithari, finish back at Karma Pass. Open to elementary school children with parental consent, accompanied by an adult; time limit 1 hour. Electronic timing; water stations on the route; bib numbers issued by race secretariat. All finishers receive a commemorative participation medal, awarded at 20:30. Entry declared under Article 8 of Law 1599/1986: participants (or parent/guardian for minors) run at their own responsibility, confirm they are medically fit, and waive claims against the organizers; no medical certificates are requested by the organizers. Registration by email to amvrakia@hotmail.com and syndargy@gmail.com (name and age) until 1 August 2026, or in person at the race secretariat on race day until 16:30; minors register through a parent or guardian. Festival continues after the races with a talk on mountain aromatic plants and herbs by Fotis Angelopoulos of the Thermo Center for Environmental Education and Sustainability (19:00) and a live music/dance program with the Vasilis Papadogiorgos band from 20:00.
