Challenging 28km mountain trail requiring hiking experience; 980m elevation gain (1,380m total ascent). Route highlights: crosses the spectacular Inachos River suspension bridge; ascends Mount Kalana passing through Velaora, Paliagrapadia, Paliochori with natural water springs; reaches peak attractions including Katsadiama cave, Profilakti (Prophet Elijah viewpoint—historic hideout of resistance fighter Andreas Iskos), Katsantonis cave, and the highlight Cave of Saint Andrew the Hermit at 1,215m elevation. Descent through Agioi Taxiarcheis chapel (breathtaking lake views), Arakleia, historic Kamara fountain (dating to 1717), returning through Silevistes chapel and Avrrakota spring. Trail terrain: 1.5km asphalt, 4.5km forest roads, 21km mountain paths. Passes through 12 pilgrimage sites and traditional stone fountains. 9 aid stations with water, cola, fruit, and snacks (stations 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, and finish). 6-hour time limit (no cutoff point).
