The 1 mile (1610 m) race for primary school pupils and the special categories. First edition of the Arta River Park Run, a socially participatory athletic and cultural event held over two days. The races are run around the perimeter of the Arta Riverside Park (Paraotamio Park). Sunday's programme comprises the 4 km race, the 2 km race, the 1 mile (1610 m) general category, the 1 mile (1610 m) for primary school and special categories, and a participatory event for primary schools. Saturday 24 October: the registration centre and race secretariat operate at the park entrance from 11:00 to 18:00, followed by the cultural and social event with awards at the park's open-air theatre (announced as 17:00-18:30 in the introduction of the announcement and as 18:00-19:30 in the detailed programme). Sunday 25 October: the race secretariat operates from 08:00 until the races start, and the awards ceremony follows at 11:30-12:00. Organised by A.S.
