Held annually on 13 August since 2010. Start at the Temple of Epicourios Apollo (Vassae, Figaleia), altitude 1150m. Finish at the Ancient Spring (Krini) of Figaleia, altitude ~450m. Route passes through the villages of Kastrougkaina, Dragogi, Platia, Perivolio, Stomio and Figaleia. Mostly downhill with alternating short ascents. 3 aid stations with water and isotonic drinks along the route. Water, fruit and a light meal served at the finish. Transport from Figaleia to the start at 07:00 for runners leaving their vehicles at the finish; return transport to the temple at ~13:00 for runners leaving vehicles at the start. BIB pickup at the start: 07:30–08:30. Awards ceremony under the ancient plane tree at the spring. On-site registration accepted on race day subject to availability.
