Route connects 4 statues of Greek heroes: Kolokotronis (Tripoli, start), King Leonidas (Sparta, 80km), Constantine Palaiologos (Mystras, 85.7km), Papaflessas / Mavromichalis / Kolokotronis (Kalamata, finish). Dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Exodus of Messolonghi. Participation requires finishing an ultra >50km or trail >40km within 2024–2026. Medical certificate from a cardiologist or pathologist required (valid within last 6 months), submitted at BIB pickup. Headlamp mandatory from CP8 (37km, Evrotas Springs) onwards. 31 aid stations with strict cutoffs; drop bags accepted at 17 designated stations. BIB pickup: Fri 23/10 18:00–20:30 and Sat 24/10 10:30–13:30, Plateia Areos (Kolokotronis statue), Tripoli. Pasta party at 11:30 on race day near the start. Post-race meal at restaurant KENTRΊKON, ~300m from the Kalamata finish square (coupon provided at start). Bus from Athens (Plateia Karaiskaki, Metaxourgeio) departs 20:30 on 24/10; returns Sun ~15:30; extra cost €20. Awards: top 6 men and women receive trophies; overall winners receive the Panagiotis Skoules commemorative medal.
