Loop route starting and finishing at Chorafa area in Kavala's periurban forest. Mainly trails and forest roads with minimal asphalt. 5 aid stations, 3 checkpoints. Time limit: 5 hours. Difficulty: Hard. Route highlights: pine forest paths alongside the city ring road, old reservoir below Agios Panteleimon chapel (km 4), steep climb to 'Gianni Papavasileiou' mountaineering hut at Fountoukhli (km 7), 'Mana tou Nerou' spring with panoramic sea views (km ~14.5), 'O dromos tou nerou' path with three stone bridges, panoramic viewpoint at Stavros, descent below Koules hill through pine forest. Bib pickup: Saturday March 14, 11:30-13:00 at club offices (Votsi 5). On-site registration opens Sunday 08:30. No new registrations on race day.
